Membership Fees.

Serenity has a modest annual membership fee structure ranging from Free to a maximum of £400 per annum. The only other additional cost to Members is a 1% fee added to the following year’s membership of any business that has been forwarded to a Member. Although Serenity will seek services from any approved sub contractor, Members of Serenity will be the first to be consulted. Member Discounts.

By being a Member of Serenity group, you will receive a discount card that will entitle you to 20% on advertising in “Treasured Times”.

When any new service provider is accepted, we establish a discount structure from them which is offered to our current Members. In turn, the new service provider benefits from all current discounts offered within the group.

2006 Membership subscription rates.
Below are listed the membership rates for 2006, membership will be charged from Nov 2006 to the end of October 2007. Any subscriptions entered into after these start dates will be on a pro rata basis.
Membership “A”
Businesses engaged in the practice of funeral directing. All members in this category with sub branches will need to declare all associated branches. These will be classed under the membership package once entered.
Annual turnover exceeding £500,000 £400
Annual Turnover Less than £500,000 £300
Membership “B”
Businesses engaged in the supply of services outside the practice of Funeral directing. £150
Membership “C”
Businesses involved in the direct paid care of the elderly or infirm. £50
Membership “D”
Organisations involved in the charitable non paid services of the elderly and infirm including Churches and charitable trusts. NIL
Membership “E”
Government bodies such as Hospitals, Police Stations, Social Services etc. NIL


Membership includes monthly copy of “Treasured Times” magazine and also any member discount from third party suppliers.

Members wishing to maintain membership in the following year will be charged a 1% fee on all business obtained from Serenity within the previous year, in addition to the second year subscription fee. For the avoidance of doubt, if Serenity passed on to a Member in a year, business of £200,000, the second year fee would be £2,000 plus the standard annual membership subscription.
